About the event
Spend a focused day exploring the ceramic female form in this six-hour hand-building workshop (10am–4pm) designed for those with some pottery experience.
This session will concentrate on developing form, proportion and movement using slab-building and advanced hand-building techniques. Working with guidance and demonstrations throughout the day, you will explore how to construct and refine the female figure in clay, considering balance, structure, surface and expression.
The workshop encourages a more interpretive and sculptural approach, allowing you to develop your own style while building confidence in shaping and assembling more complex forms.
